Boy Scout Troop 947 - High Adventure

Northern Tier/Boundary Waters - 2008

Here is the information we currently have:

Boys will need to be 13 by June 1st, 2008 to be eligible.
Length of trip will be 7 or 8 days
We will be requesting a reservation for late June or July (preferred)
Sign ups will be February 14th, 2007 to March 28th, 2007. For Scouts and adults. We must have 2 adults for each crew. A crew consists of 6-8 including the adults.
Estimated cost of trip is $1200.00 per participant.
If your name is on the sign up list you will be financially responsible for the trip
A $50.00 deposit will be due before April 11, 2007

Dan Cerone Memorial High Adventure Scholarship

Dan Cerone was a committed Boy Scout leader in Troop 947. He also was a Cub Scout leader in Pack 946. Dan’s life was cut short by heart disease but his memory and love for High Adventure will live on through a High Adventure Scholarship Fund donated to Troop 947 by his loving family.

The Dan Cerone Memorial High Adventure Scholarship is designed to support youth members of Troop 947 who would like to participate in the troop’s high adventure opportunities but requires financial assistance. A $500 scholarship is available to youth members of Troop 947 who meet the eligibility requirements of the campership program offered by the high adventure facility the troop will be visiting.
