Troop 947: 2010 Summer Camp Summary

Very Important! BSA is introducing a new medical form, effective for 2010. The new medical forms are good for 12 months only, applicable to scouts and adult leaders. The existing medical forms will not be accepted for 2010 summer camp . This means every scout or adult leader must have the new medical form and their physical must have occurred within 12 months of the start of camp. New Scouts:	Kit Cricket Adventure - Daily work on rank skills. - Visits to rappellingtower, archery and swimming. - Scouts separately schedule merit badges of interest.	Trailblazer Program - Daily work on rank skills. - Scouts separately schedule merit badges of interest.
Older Scouts & Other Programs	Evening programs available for troops and patrols: Archery, boating, climbing/rappelling, conservation, corn-hole, flag football, geo-caching, rifle, tomahawk, horseback riding, ultimate Frisbee and volleyball. Camp-wide competitions on Tuesdays and Thursdays including ironman, spar pole/bear pole climbing and golden skillet.	Voyager Program (off-site program) - Minimum age 14. On-day trips: Mountain Biking and Canoeing, 2-3 day trips: Backpacking and Caving. COPE (on-site program of ropes/climbing/teamwork) - Minimum age 13. Camp-wide competitions on Wednesday evening.
