Brotherhood Membership

What is Brotherhood Membership?

Brotherhood Membership is the last step for induction into the Order of the Arrow and should be sought by those seeking to reaffirm their belief in the high purposes of the Order.

Why should my scouts or I go through their Brotherhood?

Obtaining your Brotherhood Membership is an excellent way to learn about the Order. It also gives you an opportunity to evaluate your progress in scouting, both in your troop as well as in the Order of the Arrow. It shows your devotion to scouting.

What are the requirements to obtain Brotherhood Membership?

The complete requirements are on page 50 of the Order of the Arrow handbook.

1. Memorize the signs of Arrow membership.
2. Advance in your understanding of the Ordeal.
3. Serve your unit.
4. Plan for service in your lodge.
